Ideas for Bigs

The goal of the interactions between Bigs and Littles is to promote connections and build relationships. When coming up with an activity or an outing to do with your Little, keep your ultimate goal in mind. Often, simply chatting over a shared activity can foster a sense of friendship and build connection.

What to do?
Here are some ideas of activities you can do with your Little:
  • Arts and crafts projects
  • Painting and drawing
  • Dollar store activities
  • Needlepoint or crocheting
  • Puzzles
  • Board games
  • Building activities
  • Baking and cooking
  • Hanging out and "shmoozing"
  • Coloring books
  • Sharing a mutual hobby

Where to meet?
Many Bigs will visit Littles in their homes. If the Little has a quiet spot in the house for the session, that is ideal. Otherwise, here are some other options:
  • Taking a walk
  • Visiting a local park
  • Driving (if possible) to ice cream or pizza
  • Going to the Big's house

Remember, the most important thing is to have fun together!
