Early Childhood Division
The goal of our Early Childhood Education
Program is to foster Jewish values and to develop enthusiasm and a love of our
beautiful heritage. The Program's objectives are to encourage independence
and a positive, happy self image. Skills
development, through the use of educational material enhance language,
reasoning, and motor skills.
Our program, licensed by the State of
Ohio, is designed to make our children’s entry into school a positive, exciting,
enthusiastic one. We do this by providing a warm, secure
environment with many experiences that assure each child success, and an
integrated approach
combining a vast amount of Yiddishkeit with art, music, movement, dramatic play,
science, math, language and cognitive activities. Since these early years are
crucial in forming a child’s self-image, we use much specific praise to
reinforce any positive behaviors and to make each of our children feel special.
We concentrate on developing the “whole” child, socially and emotionally,
linguistically, cognitively, and physically. We take each child from the level
at which he is and encourage constant growth through providing challenging and
age appropriate activities that both encourage a questioning mind and increase
knowledge and skills. Above all we want our children to love school, to run to
do a Mitzvah, and to be a lifelong Torah learner.

Our dedicated, talented staff, many of whom have been teachers for at least five
years, some more than twenty, attend yearly early childhood workshops to
increase their teaching skills and keep them knowledgeable of the most current,
successful preschool philosophies and techniques.
