That’s a wrap!
We are so grateful to our enrichment team, Mrs. Lilly Zak and Mrs. Avigayil Weiss, for putting together two incredible sessions of after-school learning and fun for our students this year. We were able to offer 30 courses which were enjoyed by a total of 526 enrolled students over the Fall and Spring sessions.

The Boys Sports Enrichment was a great success as the boys got in a lot of exercise playing kickball, handball and basketball and developed their team playing skills in a lot of close matches.
Our Swimming Enrichment has been a splashing success, with lots of learning and fun throughout the levels. Mrs. Goldsmith and her team of three Yavne lifeguards (Yehudis Mann, Bailey Lempel and Ahuva Davis) taught over 45 students in five different groups this session. The lifeguards gained the benefits of learning how to teach swimming hands-on, and the students received the significant advantage of the increased staff-to-student ratio and extra attention. The students had fun and learned a lot. Whether they came in as beginners, intermediates, or advanced swimmers, there is something to gain in the pool for everyone in terms of skill building, endurance, stroke improvement, and, most importantly for beginners, becoming water safe.
Ice Skating at the Pavilion has gotten off to a great start! The instructors have already seen great improvement at all
experience levels!
It was an amazing session with our Girls Sports Enrichment. The overall goal was to empower each girl to build her self confidence in a positive atmosphere as well as working to help them be the best team player while having a great time! The energy and excitement was felt in the air with each girl shining in her own talented way!
In the Drama Club, the girls are practicing for a play that they will perform for their mothers, grandmothers, sisters, friends, and any other females who would like to attend. They are learning to speak loudly and clearly while also portraying their characters in a natural way, using appropriate intonation and expression. They are also learning to work together and to respect each other's needs. The theme of the play provides an important lesson that the girls are experiencing in a very meaningful way. Shout out to Racheli Sochaczewsky for being a tremendous help in running the Drama Club.
