Mrs. Tehillah Stelzer

Mrs. Tehillah Stelzer is Principal, General Studies, of the the Girls Elementary School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Oregon State University and a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Willamette University where she wrote her thesis in Curriculum Design and Implementation. Mrs. Stelzer previously taught in public schools in Oregon and Wisconsin before coming to Cleveland. She has served on teams aligning standards to curriculum in public schools as well as created language arts and reading curriculum. She was also a former teacher in the girls’ elementary general studies program. Most recently, Mrs. Stelzer trained through Columbia University in the Teacher’s College Reading and Writing Project, learning the art of teaching Writer’s Workshop. Mrs. Stelzer connects with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a high level of academics while building lasting relationships.
