Dr. Yoel Schwartz

Dr. Yoel Schwartz is Principal of General Studies. His focus is boys grades 1-8 and he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position. An alumnus of Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore,  Dr. Schwartz holds a Master’s degree from Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work and a doctorate from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Schwartz’s extensive experience in Jewish education includes serving as Principal of General Studies at the Yeshiva of Greater Washington and as Head of School of Yeshivat Rambam.  He was the founder and head of Ashreinu where he was involved in all aspects of administration, curriculum design and implementation. For the past ten years, Dr. Schwartz also maintained a private practice in psychology.
