Mazel Tov to Rabbi Berman’s, Rabbi Eiserman's, and Morah Burnstein's first grade classes on the occasion of their Chumash Mesiba. With parents and extended families in attendance, joined by many on livestream, our talmidim delivered an outstanding performance as they enthusiastically sang niggunim and recited the first pesukim they had learned in class from their Rebbi. Their faces shone with pride as they accepted their Chumashim from Rabbi Dessler and Rabbi Newman and immediately opened them, eager to look inside and learn Torah. Rabbi Dessler spoke about the critical importance of guiding the next generation in strengthening their middos tovos, the foundation of the Torah HaKedosha. Expressing genuine simchas haTorah, everyone joined hands, formed a circle, and danced together. May this beautiful excitement for limud haTorah continue to grow as the boys shteig, and may we continue to share in the nachas of our budding talmidei chachamim, b’ezras Hashem.
